AcuKIDS: Pediatric Acupuncture
Most children respond very well to Pediatric needle-free Acupuncture as well as Acupuncture with hair-thin needles. Pediatric Acupuncture follows the same Chinese Medicine principles discussed above with the addition of Japanese Medicine principles developed in the 1700's. Japanese Shoni-Shin, or Pediatric Needle-Free Acupuncture, uses small metal tools and seashells rubbed across the skin along the 'highways' to manually balance the energy in the body.
